I had the pleasure of working with Marissa a couple months ago and her photos turned out SO SO gorgeous!!! She’s an amazing model. I’m seriously in love with this girl 🙂

Ready for a much needed girls dinner/drinks! My friends and I try to do a girl’s dinner-gossip session every so often. Its hard cuz we are all super busy but it’s nice to dress up and enjoy good food and company.
Tonight I’m going for a French/Parisian look. ? Lol. I have my beanie on, fake glasses, stripe shirt and red lips. Paired with pleather high-waisted shorts and black stockings, I’m good to go. Have a fab night cuz I know I will!!
On my lips is Wet n Wild’s Red Velvet lipstick. I rarely ever wear red lipstick but when I do this is my go-to one. It’s a matte finish so you have to make sure your lips are nicely moisturized and not chappy cuz matte lipstick + dry flaky lips are not cute. Because it’s a matte finish, the formula is quite drying so by the end of the day you will probably need to pull out the Vaseline. Another thing I like is how this lipstick stains your lips so even if you wipe it off to eat or by the end of the day your lips are stained a nice berry color. The best thing about this lipstick is it’s only $2.99 CAD! I have every single color in this matte line and I LOVE them. They are all so pigmented and opaque. The only bad thing I have to say is this particular color bleeds around my lips a bit so I have to use a lipliner when I use this color. The other colors I have no problem with. Overall I give this 4.9/5. LOVE!

I woke up before the crack of dawn for my bride today. Let me tell you, it wasn’t easy. My whole ‘put-on-makeup-look-my-best-at-all-times-cuz-I’m-only-young-once’ motto went out the door! Hahaha. I stumbled out of bed, barely brushed my teeth, (sorry Adeline! muahah) slapped on some eye cream n moisturizer and out the door I went.
Everytime I have to wake up early (before 10am) for work, I always ask myself ughhhh whyyyyyyy did I agree to this!?? But I love what I do and I wouldn’t wanna be doing anything else! It’s kinda like going to the gym…you don’t really wanna wake up for it and you have to drag yourself there. But once you’re there it’s all good and you’re glad you went and when you’re done its so rewarding and you love it!! Haha. That’s how I feel about waking up early for wedding gigs. 🙂
Adeline had a bridal trial with me a few weeks ago. I have never met a bride who loves a good smokey eye more than myself! Yay! My kinda girl!! 🙂 Don’t be afraid of a dramatic smokey eye for your wedding. It’s super sexy and photographs awesome.

I also had the pleasure of doing the mother of the bride’s makeup as well and she looked so so beautiful. But unfortunately I forgot to take a picture.
