Mature makeup at its finest for a photoshoot. I filled in her eyebrows which made a huge difference in framing the face and eyes! Then I paired the brows with a smokey eye and tamed those eye bags and then kept everything else pretty neutral so her eyes would be the main focus. Who says older women can’t wear a smokey eye?!
I absolutely loved this set. It was such a pleasure and soooo much fun to do Tinesha’s Dance themed photo shoot. As you can probably tell, Tinesha is a fabulous dance teacher/dancer and working with her was awesome!! We needed a look that would suit both a pretty ballerina and a cool hip hop dancer. We definately achieved that! ❤️
What a difference a filled in eyebrow + a flattering eyebrow shape makes right! Just frames and opens up the eyes so beautifully!
Deena doesn’t usually wear too much makeup so we went for a more ‘natural but not’ look. A lot of my clients prefer this look which makes sense, especially when you’re not used to wearing or seeing yourself with makeup on. BUT remember that makeup for photography is different; it has to be a little more intense so that it’ll show up on camera. Lighting washes out a lot of things. I know that seeing yourself with more-than-usual makeup on is sometimes shocking or uncomfortable, but just put your trust in me. As long as you look hot it’s all good right!!! 👍 Don’t worry, I got chu!!! 👊 😆
Today’s client Melanie came concerned that her rosaeca would show in her boudoir photos. I used my trusted MAC Studio Fix Fluid Foundation and it sure did it’s job! Melanie looked fantastic! And this is before lighting and photoshop; I can’t wait to see your photos pretty mama! ❤
#selfie #ootd before I leave of course! I just got over the flu and a week of torture and not eating well so I was feeling skinny mini today hence the crop top muahahha 🙌👍
16yr old dancer Tiffany came today to http://www.chrisbernardphotography.com to do some headshots and dance pictures for her portfolio. She walked in all naturally pretty so it was easy for me to do her makeup. Something so graceful about a dancer; you can just tell she’s a dancer just by looking at her.
Tiffany did her own hair (high bun) so I did my job with the makeup. We agreed on false lashes, lighter eyeshadow, no bottom eyeliner, contoured cheeks and a light pink lip color. My camera phone does not do her eyeshadow justice, so I’m hoping Chris’ professional photos captured it. She looked so so pretty and I seriously can’t wait to see her pictures!!! We’ve had a few dancers before and their pictures all turned out SO breath taking. So nice meeting you Tiffany and mommy Pamela!!!
Tiffany and Pamela were stuck in traffic so this is what I do when my clients are running late. #selfie of course!!!
