A Glamorous Indian Wedding – Edmonton Wedding Makeup Artist

Better late than never!  I’ve been extremely busy lately but here is my beautiful Indian bride from last month.  The first wedding of the year for me!  

Everything turned out perfect- even more so than the bridal trial we had prior.    She looked soooo beautiful!!

Indian bridal makeup is much more dramatic and bold than your average bride: dark eyes, heavy contour and red lips.  Together, all the colours just pop – they’re intense and so beautiful that it always always captures soooo beautifully on camera/film.  I love doing Indian weddings!!! ❤️

My beautiful soon to be Bollywood bride!! Indian weddings are so elaborate and full of beautiful colours and details…I absolutely love it!  My bride-to-be wanted dramatic eyes and a red lip, my kind of girl!!  We did not do any false lashes here at the trial (because she had errands to run right after) BUT we will be adding dramatic false lashes on the day of the wedding which will complete the whole look that much more.  I can’t wait!!!  See you soon gorgeous!!

One of my brides was featured on the knot.com! Nicola envisioned a classic yet romantic makeup look.  She wanted a slightly bolder lip to go with a medium brown smokey eye.  Everything turned out perfect!

My birthday!!!

Yesterday I celebrated my 34th birthday here in the beautiful Mayan Riviera. Any day, let alone a birthday, celebrated with my family and loved ones is a blessing. 
I spent the day relaxing by the pool (drinking my face off of course) while the kids were off at the kids club (yaaaasss 🙌🏼) and finished off with an amazing steak and lobster dinner with my family.  
It’s funny how I always have a full face of makeup on (all day everyday) back home but on vacation I keep it to a minimal. Even on my birthday. I did a simple eye look- a wash of eyeshadow and a little winged liner with a contoured face and my usual go to bright pink lipstick.
